How to read these

Each project shows what the piece is, what it is made of, and the one or two decisions that actually determined how it was built — the hinge post on a gate, the anchorage on a balcony guard, the quick-release on a bedroom window bar. That is the part worth knowing before you commission your own.

The badge on each card is a design tier, not a price tier and not a product you can order by name. It describes how much ornament the piece carries:

• Streamlined — Plain profiles, minimal ornament — the piece does its job and gets out of the way.
• Premium — Considered detail: shaped tops, patterned infill, a finish chosen for the setting.
• Statement — Ornamental work — scrollwork, custom patterns, pieces built to be looked at.

Want references, not just photos?

Ask. Photographs show what the work looks like; a phone call with a recent customer tells you what it was like to have us on site, which is the part a photo cannot carry. We would rather put you on the phone with someone real than write a testimonial ourselves — see the reviews page for how we handle proof.
